Book Review

My Reflection:
I was learning to write a book review. I found it easy to rate the book. I found to write what the book is about. I need to work on making bigger sentences and adding more detail. I need to work on retelling the story.

Hockey Skills

My Reflection:
I was learning about different hockey skills during six hockey workshops.
I found it easy to hit the ball because I could see where the ball was going.
I found Indian dribbling hard because you had to have a lot of control on the ball and you had to go fast. It was super confusing.
I think I need to work on turning the hockey stick when dribbling.
My favourite part of hockey skills was juggling the ball on the hockey stick.

Doubling and Halving Strategy

My Reflection:
I was learning to use the doubling and halving strategy to help me solve multiplication questions. I found it tricky to do the arrays. I found it easy to make the new arrays and answer it. I found it hard to think about which number to double and which number to half. I think I still need a bit of work on this strategy.

My Speech

My Reflection: I was learning how to write a persuasive speech. I found it hard to write everything in my own words. It was easy to write the conclusion. I need to keep working on writing in a persuasive way.

Flower Artwork

My Reflection:
I was learning to create a piece of artwork using multi-media.
I found it tricky to trace the vivid over the pencil because the vivid was fat.
I found it easy to paint the background because we did it in steps.
I want to work on going more slowly on the vivid and going over the lines properly.

Fractured Fairy Tales

My Reflection:
I was learning to compare a fractured fairy tale with a traditional one. I had to compare the plot, characters and setting. I need to work on getting better ideas quicker. I found it easier to talk about the traditional fairy tale. I found it hard to compare the two fairy tales. I need to work on this.

Additiong and Subtraction Problem Solving

My Reflection:
I was learning to solve addition and subtraction word problems. I found it easy to find the answer to the second question. I found trying to show the working out the hardest part. I think I need to keep working on understanding word problems.
